Curriculum Design & Alignment

  • Utilizing the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework to develop units that align with Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
  • Implementing the STEELS standards to enhance science and technology education.
  • Ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment across grade levels and subjects.

STEM Integration

  • Leading the STEM 2030 initiative to embed science, technology, engineering, and mathematics across the curriculum.
  • Collaborating with local industries to provide real-world STEM experiences.

Assessment & Data Literacy

  • Developing common formative assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Training educators in data analysis to inform instruction and interventions.

Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

  • Facilitating PLCs focused on collaborative planning, data analysis, and instructional strategies.
  • Providing ongoing professional development aligned with district goals.

Curriculum Development Cycles

  • Science: Aligning with the new STEELS standards for full implementation by the 2025–26 school year.
  • English Language Arts: Integrating evidence-based literacy practices across K–12.
  • Mathematics: Focusing on conceptual understanding and application through problem-solving.
